Upon submission of a Spanish death certificate or a multilingual death certificate, any Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Justice can issue, in the capital of any Spanish Autonomous region, the Certificate of last will or the life insurance certificate. That will allow you to verify if the deceased has registered a will or signed a life insurance in the Spanish territory.
